Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Toombs County, Georgia. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On the job you will handle: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task 2+ years on the tools preferred.
