Milling machinist • Howard County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Howard County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
