Vacancy available: gtaw welder (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Berrien County, Michigan. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
