Urgent requirement: heavy equipment operator (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in De Baca County, New Mexico. You will be based at a stone quarry. On a typical shift you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Six days a week, one day off.
