Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Allendale County, South Carolina. You will work on the press shop floor. On a typical shift you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Full-time with occasional weekends.
