Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Jefferson County, Ohio. You will work at a busy construction site. The role involves inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
