Foundry labourer • Renville County, North Dakota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Renville County, North Dakota. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Rotating shifts.
