Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Macon County, Georgia. The job is on a high-rise building project. Day to day you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Six days a week, one day off.
