Ladle pourer — Sabon Gari

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Sabon Gari, Kaduna State. You will work on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Rotating shifts.
