Air conditioning service engineer — Grundy County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in Grundy County, Iowa. You will work on residential and commercial sites. The role involves: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
