Heavy equipment operator — Clark County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Clark County, Idaho. The job is at a landfill site. The role involves operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
