Day to day you will inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine. You should have: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
