Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Dallas County, Arkansas. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Full-time with occasional weekends.
