Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Colfax County, Nebraska. The job is in a job-work machining unit. The role involves adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); load and index turning tools in the turret. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Six days a week, one day off.
