Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Calhoun County, Georgia. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 1+ years on the tools preferred.
