Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. The role involves carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
