Laundry presser wanted in De Soto Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Full-time with occasional weekends.
