Great opportunity: we are hiring an estate gardener in Queens County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
