Vacancy available: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Taylor County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips On the job you will handle: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
