Argon welder wanted in Livingston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Livingston County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
