Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Caroline County, Virginia. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
