Lifting rigger wanted in Brantley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Brantley County, Georgia. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
