Great opportunity: we are hiring a security guard in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. You will work at a construction site. Day to day you will raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover; check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes. What we are looking for: • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Clean police verification with no criminal record Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
