Safety marshal • Chattahoochee County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety marshal in Chattahoochee County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
