Cnc lathe operator wanted in Burke County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Burke County, North Carolina. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
