Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift.
