Great opportunity: fusing press operator (Michigan)

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Berrien County, Michigan. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
