Great opportunity: rigging foreman (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Marion County, Texas. You will work at a container port. The role involves: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 4+ years on the tools preferred.
