Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Antrim County, Michigan. The role involves bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred.
