ACP cladding fabricator • Tompkins County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ACP cladding fabricator in Tompkins County, New York. The job is on a commercial shopfront installation. The role involves apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads. Requirements: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
