Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Warren County, Iowa. You will work at a busy garment factory. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching.
