Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Inverclyde, Scotland. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around £1,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
