Now hiring: automotive paint technician (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Candler County, Georgia. The job is at an accident repair centre. On a typical shift you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,000 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
