Spray painter (automotive) — Rio Arriba County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Day-to-day duties: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
