Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Southampton County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
