Hoist operator wanted in Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
