Immediate opening: earthmoving plant operator (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Day-to-day duties: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends.
