Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofer in Minidoka County, Idaho. The job is at a busy roofing firm. Day to day you will lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding. What we are looking for: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
