Rebar fixer wanted in Uyo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
