Production welder • Pemiscot County, Missouri

Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Pemiscot County, Missouri. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Part-time with flexible hours.
