You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
