Great opportunity: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day-to-day duties: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements 2+ years on the tools preferred.
