Shakeout operator wanted in City of Chesapeake

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Six days a week, one day off.
