Join our team: shuttering carpenter (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Mercer County, Illinois. You will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 6+ years on the tools preferred.
