Elevator repair technician — Carroll County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Carroll County, Indiana. You will be based in a residential tower block. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day-to-day duties: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Part-time with flexible hours.
