Aluminium section fitter — Smyth County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium section fitter in Smyth County, Virginia. The job is on a commercial shopfront installation. On the job you will handle: • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw Ideal candidate: • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders 1+ years on the tools preferred.
