Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Sebastian County, Arkansas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
