We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Greeley County, Kansas. You will work at a power plant. Day to day you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time, day shift.
