We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Lee County, Iowa. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Your main tasks: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
