Mason's helper — Fauquier County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mason's helper in Fauquier County, Virginia. The job is on a building construction site. You will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
